My number one favorite is the knife. It is the "oldest" (untraded) loom I have. Made this thing in spring of last year, I think. Even before its recent buff, I loved the knife. The model looks like a chef's knife. It's faster than any larger 1h weapons by at least 10 speed (yanmaodao is too slow compared to this). with 6 powerstrike, I have surprised countless enemies with my knife as an arbalest sniper, archer, and devastated siege server corridors when I was 1h/shield. I'd take this over a rondel dagger any day. It's a half length saber with speed that beats anything but another dagger. The only downside is the terrible stab, and accidentally readying the stab animation.

loginMy close seconds (tied) are the swiss halberd and the light lance. Light lance is great on horseback if you have high riding and a horse with good maneuver. You can land thrusts quickly, as needed, and at unexpected angles. If you lose your horse, it is fast enough that you stand a chance 1v1 against an enemy infantryman. The swiss halberd is affordable and packs a massive overhead. If you are in a clustered fight, side swings on a polearm are useless. Jump into that blob of players and slam that thing down on an enemy's head.
