I second this. However, I would like to bring my horse along once in a while. It gets restless in the stable without me.

In my honest opinion i think that cavalry are the problem. Archers you can approach, and sometimes they run, but they cant attack you while running and can still be caught by numerous xbowmen and faster infantry.

Cav on the other hand you cant do a damn thing about until they run into a wall or fail at lancing. And they are a constant annoyance in combat what with the ability to run over 7-8 infantry in a row before slowing down to a trot. Shooting them is pointless as most horsemen use the 90 mph courser that almost outruns arrows and one hit kills you with bumps

melee only is the biggest derp fest. It mainly consists of two very large groups of players that simply take the nearest path to killing eachother. No strategy involved, just twitch reflexes and a contest of who posseses the biggest cluster fuck

To be honest, it's not constantly melee-only for selfish reasons. I think I'll include Thursday in the 'Weekend' soon, but I doubt I'll extend the melee-only status to a permanent thing until I solve my little problem.

That's what makes it great, like the classic ol' school FPS greats of yore!  Q2, UT, Tribes, etc.

couldn't find a topic in the un-ban section for tunatown. I would like to request an un-ban, as I was told that my an would be temporary, but it has been permanent. I believe I was banned because I was defending a friend on a certain topic. This got me perma-muted and while a game was going on, I was running from a melee (I was an archer at the time) to find more arrows, and the admin kicked me for potentially "leeching." Seeing as the admin obviously disliked me, he banned me, which I think is unfair. Anyways, I apologize for anything I have done and would like to play back in Tunatown.
