If that were at all feasable for me then I would choose my weapons based on that situation, too :). But when 4 dudes show up, I might as well be unarmed.

Anyway thanks everyone. I suppose the answer, in the end, is to just mess around with the damned thing (as you all keep saying).

When I use regular bardiche or morningstar on horsback, what kind of WPF is needed? 1H or 2 H

I always liked the long bardiche...140 length and the damage is very nice.  I'd rather have 140 length and 89 speed than 92 speed and 120'ish length.  If you use it to your advantage, the length will catch people off guard and allow you to get in extra swings while they try to cover the distance on foot.

I don't know the 2h axe stats, but I'm assuming the bardiche and the "axes" in 2h are similar to the long bardiche and great long axe in what they do best (one faster/shorter, one longer/slower)
