I'm 1h without shield but I sometimes pick up shields and throwing stuff, what does that make me ?

I'll admit it, I went archer just to see how borked it is now and i honestly feel bad for the other archers out there. I'm sure every other class is like HELL YEAH! But archery has been nerfed into the ground. For example, today i shot some strength crutching baddie twice in the head with +1 bodkins and a yumi bow, 6 PD and 140 wpf, and he lived. So i shot him in the body, still alive, then he swung once and i died. it is a sad day for archers...

Yeah, I know that too. But what makes archers strong is teamplay. I have seen many archer nests in many battles that totally changed the result of the battle. Same thing is with pikemen. Weak alone, but give them a good team and they are unstoppable.

Well, asking which class is your main wont help you see if there are so many archers/hoplites, etc. Everyone could be cav for their main, but mostly play an archer alt, for example.

I propose a new poll:
What classes do you play?
Each voter selects up to three.

ALSO include hybrids!
I suggest adding the categories:
melee/cav hybrid
melee/ranged hybrid

Shielder, because it is, and always has been, a fairly balanced class, which when mastered is capable of fighting any other class even when outnumbered.

I think which class(es) do you currently play would be a better option. Top 2 would be best.

Hybrids, don't worry about so much. Even as a hybrid, thrower + 1h shield for example, or cavalry/melee, you play pretty much as one of those classes until forced into a situation where the "hybrid" role makes sense. Throwers + 1h shield are going to Throw until someone gets in too close and they will switch. Cavalry/melee will be cavalry until their pony dies. So pick what you do primarily.

However, if you allow two options and someone only plays a hybrid primarily, they can pick their hybrid options,

I don't agree with you. Damage is fine, it's actually very good imo. It's the missile speed that is the problem for archers and that people with great amount of armor keep up with you now after the weight nerf.

I'm very grateful for all the new swords being 0-slot, but I would like to see some pierce/blunt weapon 0-slot as well, simply cause you don't stand a chance against high armor targets (with lower PS at least) and since the added weight you can't really run so it turns to backpaddling and blocking and hopefully a teammate will save you

Anyway go Long Bow, it's the ez mode bow now days

Bagge, thanks for the tip but I went rus bow for faster shot speed. The last time I stuck out archery for a full gen longbow was only bow with pierce so I have to get used to it lol.
