Happiest moment: When Robert Namo discovered the QGN (No!) voice command for the first time (that I, he, and many others have seen by now, but which was news to everyone at the time; this was very soon after it was added, I guess) on his character, Iraqi Namo. My memory is blurry, yet the important details remain.

-It was near round end. Robert's team was ahead quite a few players and were just hunting down stragglers at that point.
-Iraqi Namo suddenly says "No!" while running, stops in her tracks, and spams it repeatedly (this was before flood).

"No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!"

The character of Iraqi completely snapped and rejected everything that was going on around her until the next round began. Something about how this all transpired, coupled with my own lack of sleep, made it one of the most hilarious and memorable moments I've witnessed in cRPG.

Actually today I had one of the happiest moments.

Me and Mushy were playing DTV and making ammo racks of javs and lances

(click to show/hide)

We then went on to throw everything we had from near the virgin over to the enemy
(click to show/hide)

And ran over to find the ground covered in ammo
(click to show/hide)

made me chuckle

Every time some dehorsed cav runs away from the fight to get a new horse and I shoot it right when he mounts up and gets insta dehorsed again - pure satisfactory.

When I finally learned how to manually swing and block. It was like a flood of comprehension, a realization OF THE POWER IN MY OWN HANDS!

Also I remember really long ago when I just started playing crpg, I watched some Pecores guy that was 1h/shield/crossbow. He was skirmishing in melee, making potshots at unaware players, hiding to reload. It looked so intense, he could do it all! Jack of all trades! I'm generation 25 and finally actually doing that build. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

Technically a Warband moment rather than a cRPG one.

When I first started playing, the GK duel server had a set of bots that you could duel against. I tried to kill the Champion Fighter an ungodly number of times, and never succeeded. Eventually the GK duel server was shut down, and my chance to kill that bot was seemingly lost.

Fairly recently, Robo's Dueling Hut opened. It had the same bots. A simple kickslash, and I finally got my revenge.

When I killed someone with a catapult while he was mid-aid, jumping from a tower.

Just a moment ago on a strat battle Shu Han vs Apostates.
I'm fighting on the Apostates' side as a pikeman. The battle is almost over and we've ran out of good armor (We have only Ragged outfits). Somehow I end up in a 1v1 situation with Ujin. He get's really close and starts spamming me with his 1hander, because of the pike I cannot attack back. After blocking a few swings I manage to dodge his overhead, run away few steps, jump and do an awesome 180* spinstab right into his face. He had no helmet so I killed him with that 1 stab

Not quite on topic, but still: the cutest thing I've ever seen in cRPG was a dialog between two throwers (I think it was Mendro and Godwin but I might be wrong).

End of round, most people are dead. Was something like this:
- sorry for picking up your stuff from the ground
- np, my jarids are your jarids.

- One strat battle, Chopchop and me were fighting against an enemy, then a wild catapult shot appeared and killed Chopchop and the enemy, i just survived closely, one meter more to the hit and i would be dead.

- One time on siege there were 2 throwers, one in my back and one in my front. I just dodged them in the right moment with a "thrust" into the ground, they teamkilled themselve.

Oh, I almost forgot.

Every time I launch an arrow and as soon as its released, a teammate decides to walk into its flightpath. I can see the arrow getting closer and closer to my teammate and Im already thinking "fucking hell". Then the arrow ghosts through my teammate and kills the enemy behind him, who would have been technically impossible to hit. Phew  8-)
