lol, someone doesn't know latitudes and their effect on temperatures. Surely because the US and Europe lie on fairly comparable latitudes the weather is reasonably similar. Besides, -40 degrees isn't even very badass compared to -30 or even -40 degrees which the on-topic Fins endure. Also, no you wouldn't know because you aren't a scientifically valid thermometer.

If you were trying to say how cold finland is, true, it gets very cold there. but we have cold winters in america too. but the difference between american weather and european weather is that it actually fluctuates from testicle-numbingly cold to scorching hot. meanwhile, most europeans have never even been in an environment that doesn't have a calm 20-25 degree all year climate.
