People don't like polls mainly because they are annoying.
But look how polls looks like in WFAS.
If you are alive in game, the poll looks like this:
When you press 1-2-3, or if you are dead or in spectator mode, then regular poll window appears:
If you press 1 or 2 in this window, you will vote (just like in cRPG), if you press 3 it hides/shows this poll window.
If you don't open poll window before time ends, you vote is counted as NO. So votes without stating a reason are almost always ignored by players and rejected (unless someone is known troll or it's map change poll etc).
This way, people busy fighting won't be bothered by polls and all rage polls without a reason will be rejected anyway. Devs can also add possibility to set poll reason for person who makes it.
Wouldn't be much better to make user friendly polling for cRPG, than arguing who deserves a ban for making useless poll and who doesn't?
