No.

It takes me less than ten seconds to reload a bloody arbalest with 1 wpf. It takes a lot less time for dedicated xbowmen to do the same. Light Crossbow reloads faster than it takes Longbow archer to make two shots. Don't make them slower and that way reduce their melee abilities. Just change crossbows so they reload slower. For those with a lot of wpf, it should take same amount of time I need to reload it atm with just 1 wpf. And for those with 1 wpf, they should reload for 30 seconds. Problem solved.

Weight has no effect on horse speeds/maneuverability.

Ahem... What makes xbows a fairy princess you need to protect while you tell archers to get fucked over the same game mechanic? Clearly you think the weight nerf will inhibit melee capabilities, yet you tell archers that melee'ing is what they are supposed to do with this shackle and the solution for them is to drop their (2 slot now required) bows (not to mention dropping one stack of arrows up front to have more than a 0 slot weapon to melee with)? Xbows can be dropped just as well and they at least aren't losing the use of 6 attribute points when they do so.
Get some fucking consistency. The fact is that this is a bad game mechanic, period. It doesn't matter which class it is strapped onto.

Dedicated xbowmen were hurt by the weight nerf to bolts.

And yet any dedicated crossbowman is still a kiting fairy in NA that even lightly armored teammates have a near-impossible time catching (JesusChrist is a posterboy of this, as is GreasedLightning)... Because without the "wasted" points that a bowman has to put into PowerDraw, you have a crapload left to blow your Agi through the roof and load on the athletics.

Dedicated crossbowmen (I am not talking about melee/crossbow hybrids) have always been faster then bowmen anyways, and are a massive nuisance in NA for the last year and always will be until you nail their feet to the ground like you did to the archers. Even a regular "melee/crossbow" hybrid can with 5PS still afford to heap on an ungodly amount of athletics and not care in the slightest.

Quivers weigh 7-10, bolts weigh 5-6... This is a problem since crossbowmen are already faster to begin with due to the extra points saved from using a crossbow to begin with.

Besides, everyone and their mother has a crossbow as a "sidearm" and perhaps this would discourage dedicated melee from taking it for grins and giggles if it severely hampered their ability to fight in melee. Most of the range spam is crossbows, last I checked, and that makes since since the only reason not to take a crossbow is because 85% of the time you "Don't want to spend more on upkeep" which is a pretty crappy reason.

You guys are pansies.

X-bow is a weak class and a good sidearm. Historically most cross bows were not used by dedicated "crossbowman" but ordinary soldiers. They are easy to use.

Leave it how it is.

With proposed changes to "free" weapon proficiency in the pipeline the crossbow is about to take a real hit.

There is no such thing as a kiting xbowman anymore, if any melee wants to chase you and doesn't give up, it's game over. I went from being the fastest person on the field, to just an average speed capable of outrunning a few tin cans. If you want to prove me wrong, you can get a crossbow with 10 athletics and try to "kite" anyone who is intent on killing you. You might be able to do this if you're naked, with one quiver of bolts, and no sidearm; good luck.

Quivers weigh 7-10, bolts weigh 5-6... This is a problem since crossbowmen are already faster to begin with due to the extra points saved from using a crossbow to begin with.
Bolts are also a lot smaller and come in less numbers than arrows. Bolt weight is already really unrealistic, and you want extra? How can you justify a morningstar weighing 3.5 while bolts weigh 6?

Well, no, I don't believe you. Even when wearing medium armor my 6 athletics leaves me in the dust when I try and chase you, and you actually, somehow, get far enough that you then reload, keep running, and shoot someone... And repeat. As for the 10THL comment, yeah, I have an alt who does just fine  actually. Some people chase him down, most people can't. There is a reason why I listed you as a specific example.

Bolts are also a lot smaller and come in less numbers than arrows. Bolt weight is already really unrealistic, and you want extra? How can you justify a morningstar weighing 3.5 while bolts weigh 6?
My justification is balance, as the Devs already have shown that justification by realism is worthless as my arrows each weigh as much as some small field artillery shells... Seriously.

How can you justify a handful of arrows weighing 10, in a retort? My statement was based purely on "Your gear weighs less and you have more points to spend on ATHL (which every crossbowman does if dedicated...) due to not having to worry about PD."

Months ago maybe this happened, but as I was saying, since the weight was increased it is impossible for me to run, reload, run, shoot, repeat.

Exactly, arrow weight is ridiculous and increasing it for the sake of "balance" makes no sense to me. Archery takes skill just like any other class, and I feel like because a few became ridiculously good at it, the nerf was implemented. That's like nerfing 2h because of miley, or shield because of san, or horse xbowman because of rohypnol (well that almost happened, right?)

What exactly keeps a melee guy from investing into athletics? If you choose STR over AGI then you know why you're slower right? Everybody can choose his/her build freely.
