I think it registers by who ques for the match or the wide variation in mmr has something to do with it. One person on our stack was 3k but we ended up against high mmr with a esports profile. http://www.dotabuff.com/players/63723196 he must have had a similar mixed mmr stack.

I instantly notice that the new UI is ten times worse than it used to be. It used to be simple, clear and to-the-point. Now it's weirdly cluttered and slow and crap and I feel like crying.
