This might seem trollish, but it was Leshma when I started. He could block everything and kill multiple guys at a time. Since then I think he doesn't take it as seriously or got bored playing to win

Chase obviously too. He's still the most well rounded player I think

There were others who still play as well. I came into this mod when people were already at their top ability so there were a lot of good players around who set the bar very high for a beginner

Seeing him play with all his strange loom (+3 felt cap +3 long bow +3 bodkin +3 dagger) and with that horrrible 300 ping on siege and still be one goddam good archer!

and a strange one : spook yeah spook!! when I started playing he was ALWAYS building an healing tent at flag or constructing cool thing wasting all his kd and such for team, found that cool

My heroes were Shogunate_belmont and Uthred_von_Bebbanburg. belmont was one of the few that could kill me back then, Uthred was just plain cool on his plated charger, tincan and morningstart 

I took 6 trowing lances as a sidearm pure to take those 2 out

not exactly my hero but when I i finally switched over to c-rpg guy named chimp was killing the servers with probably 230 wpf 2h 10 ath and 8 ps in full plate.

Actually, at that time I had 71 body armor and hits were bouncing off me (most people had regular gear). I couldn't block everything but I could turn around, drag overheads, at some point I was able to hit through enemies before cmpx patched that.

I was high level, with epic gear while most people weren't. That's all. Also cmp did everything in his power to minimize impact single player has on battlefield. Especially against groups of enemies. You know how it's hard these days to kill group of anything, especially shielders (that used to be walk in the park).
