Buff light armors

Hello i had multiple light armors and all of them were crap. It is like you don't wear protection at all.
I suggest you buff them in that way so they become much viable option then now.
Also increase speed penalty for heavier armors beacuse it is lame when you enter server and see 70 players wearing heavy gauntlets and coat of plates and don't have any penalty in speed.
I remember when i started playing everyone were using lighter armors, but now everyone is plated. Upkeep isn't working,so nerf heavier stuff.

heavy armor is actually too weak for realism atm, there are other ways to make plate less viable. one of them is making sure its more expensive.

Meh, the only part that I can somehow agree is penalty to movement speed from heavier armors, for a guy with >7ath it's a joke, bad one.

very true but imagine the fucking crazy shit a shielder like you would pull off with less speed penalty from armours, sure you got the penalty of your shield which is quite alot but there are already an average amount of shielders with 60+ body armor +3 shield that tear shit up, buffing them like that would, i think, make them extremely OP. it is realistic though, as shown by the vids re-posted by no rules in the mbg/epic section, armour didnt slow you down alot, since it was tailor made.
I loot corpses of their golden teeth.
But he'll be around somewhere between Heaven and The Devil, because neither of them will take him in, and he'll be farting loudly and singing a filthy song.

i'll be there at around

I didn't make my post clear enough I guess, what I meant was that movement penalty from heavier armors is a bit too low for someone with higher athletics skill, not that much noticable as in my opinion it should be. I would slightly raise the weight of some armors. I also know that having 60-70 armour is not that superior as people would expect.
Reducing amount of armour cruthers in my opinion would have positive impact of few aspects of gameplay.

Imho light armors should be nerfed, i.e. cloth tunic sometimes takes 2 hits with 50cut weapon and 8ps..

If you don`t want it to be discussed do it via pm, lol.
Besides that a discussion in this case is what`s needed to
show the dev`s what the community wants.
Imo buffing lower armors is a terrible choice,
the balance is pretty okay atm.
I don't want to give a feedback to molly neither i want to ban him,I wanted to give advise high authorities to take his admin rights.Panos you monkey wrench where would u put this topic enlighten me you cancer fuck.

If light armors get buff (more body armor), than there is no reason to wear (pay upkeep) for heavy armors. I mean if body armor numbers (heavy and light) are close + gauntlets.

Has nothing to do with armor rating, actually. It's because player you were fighting have a ton of HP. It would be the same if he was completely naked.

Light armors shouldn't be buffed, but it would be cool if light armors had same heirloom modifiers as everything else.

And it's not true that heavy armor isn't worthwhile, bellow 60 total armor rating everything feels squishy. The higher you go above that number, the more game breaking it becomes. And since everyone has looms these days, there's ton of people with 65 AR and higher.

24str 3if 53h 61b 49l armour and quite often die after 2 hits. Weapon doesn't matter in this case. I already got 2hit by ncs, steel pick, ashwood pike (hoplite), dadao, italian sword, flamburger, longsword, other 1h, 2h and polearms

@Mlekce - be a valourwhore and ignore upkeep like a baws  8-)

Well if tons of hp is the case, why low level characters don't die to 2hit sometimes?

I've lasted 4 hits with cloth and same i can take with medium armor. Maybe it is just being lucky or moving towards swings so they don't hit properly.
