Wouldn't it be the same amount of points spent whichever way you go from 15?  7 would be the same as 23.  I know this because I have it all written down on a notepad like a big ol' nerd.

Yes It would be the same. I was going to say that.

But look at the map. the BLUE Zone is Off limits, so your trade has to be primarily from the north section. Make a fief that would make northern trade zones look appealing.
(TKOV trades amongst itself mainly as well as bisecting the map and making north south trade not as good as those factions hate each other, like FCC and Occitan etc)

Hm I'm seeing a lot of the furthest fiefs on the map as high priced in the north and not a lot of buy fiefs in the middle, except Desire's.  I liked the idea of a high sell fief though, because I'm under the impression that the goods have to be sold to get the tax money and I am an impatient babby.

What's your prosperity at? It might be better not to respec at this point depending on what you have.

Unless the system changed you'd only have half your current points after the respec.  The numbers could be slightly off but on October 2nd we had 233 points after they let everyone respec their villages, and villages get 1 point per day so 88 points later you'd have 321, divided by two is only 160 points.

Fief points system:

Unless your prosperity is really low, I'd say say don't respec and keep on putting points in prosperity.  The Uslum to Amere distance bonus is 299% btw so people might get a similar distance bonus from other fiefs on the edge of the map.

Yeah, the prosperity is barely touched so getting rid of the weapon upgrades will get me slightly ahead of where I am now.  A pp reset would be awwwwful nice right about now.

to clarify what i meant by that statement partyboy

1 point less in cost is 1 less to buy it for, but 1 point higher in sellprice is 4 with 400% farawaybonus.

so if you had a 7 village you would buy 1k tradegoods at 7k.

But when you sell those at 400% at a 23 village you get 23*4 = 92/each (92 000)

so if you go into a village with 24 price you get 24*4 = 96/each (96 000)

but if you bought a tradegoods at 6 you'd only save 1k in total compared to making 4k.

TL;DR sellvillages need to be very high price for good profit, buyvillages doesn't matter as much.
Especially considering how much pp it takes to lower the price after 7, the prosperity is more worth it imo.

Free love? When are you holding Amerestock? Three days of music, peace, and love. Bring your ukelele!

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

Yeah, I think I'm going to go low-price buy fief since I don't have to max out the price to have people buy from it.  Ya'll got about two days to get your sell on.

Something pretty low, I don't have many points to work with and I think prosperity is more important in the long run.
