improving retirement system
« on: December 29, 2012, 05:31:34 pm »
Some of us, mainly 2h nubs, are playing the same build over and over and this is fucking boring.
Would be fun to have a system monitoring your chararacter's consanguinity over the generations.
High consanguinity would result in your char going forward when you press S, failblocking or losing his sword in the bushes.
It would improve the rp element of the game whilst accounting for a major constituant of white european history.
What you guys think of it?

I think he means that if you play same thing over and over again you're getting worse at it each time, which doesn't make sense but could help to force build diversity and possibly reduce number of cookie cutter builds.

If I'm not mistaken, you're saying that you and most of your ancestors being 2H means there was a lot incest going on in the past generations which resulted in current char being born retarded and because of that walking forward when he wants to go backward, also being unable to block.

Play the same build 10 generations in a row to unlock the Hapsburg Chin as a helmet!

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

the only change on the retirement should be this.

You retire at level 32,not 31,and when you retire you get to start from level 31 and not 1.

No more endless grinding to level 31..

I am pretty sure that, just because you are bored with your class you seem to be playing over and over again, doesn't mean we all are bored with the classes we choose... just pick a different spec.

My vote is *No* if you put up a poll.

lolololo highglandeur. Do what I did. Go for entirely different build. Been 2h for year now, boring as hell, way too easy, went a archer with melee hybrid. Tough as hell cause my crossair is so large and meleeing aint as easy as it used to be. But atleast its challenging now. I think 2h is broke or something, or  they nerfed other classes way too much.

Its funny how experienced 2h usersthemselves beg for nerfs now. But I totally get it. If 2h turns into a fair class again, il go back for it. Cause 2h looks extremely cool to me.
