The same donkey who attacked that juicy looking caravan thinking there would be a great abundance of loot
You make the attack to get the loot, you dont like the loot? Maybe it will make you think twice before attacking a target that looks too good to be true
However, I agree with being able to drop the loot you acquire from a battle because some of it is trash
But hey, if you have the stones to attack a caravan, it should be on you with what you wind up with since you are the badass trying to take that loot, even if it is trash and not treasure
Right, because if you attack a caravan, everyone KNOWS you HAVE to take everything they had on them, even the dirty diapers the kids were wearing. It's not like you'd see 10 wagon full of rocks and say "no thanks", I mean, you'd be obligated to take them, even if there was another army trying to catch you.
I'd say, give the ability to only drop damaged gear.
If you can drop goods, attacking caravan will be useless.... people will just dump everything if they see someone coming for them.
So you make the gear you drop be lootable for a certain period of time (maybe a day or two or a week). I agree that it's nice to trick people into attacking and having to carry around 10,000,000 rocks, but they should be able to drop the loot they take on the ground, and anyone should be able to take it.
This is just obvious/common sense. Of course you should be able to lighten your army's load to avoid being attacked or captured...but that army should be allowed to pick through your gear.
