What do you mean open the door?

One of the first siege battles, we defended some castle.....attackers got slaughtered (read - shot to pieces) while trying to get up the walls......it was so boring that i decided to open the gate for 'em, just to spice things up a bit......those few minutes (during which the gate was open) were the only interesting period of the battle, it was very intense and it looked like they breached our defense.....but soon someone (maybe it was me again, can't really remember) closed the gate and we continued to butcher them until the end of the battle. At first no one knew who did it but it was only the day after (or something like that) i publicly admitted that it was me opening the gate.

What happened to players like : Appe (he was such a my old friend ^^); MTE; Cris; Kesh (GTX after nerfed at lvl 46?) and Panzermarine?
And i really miss the times when i was hiding somewhere near the battle in my lousy armor just to get a little bit money.
And the 222 ppl server was epic fun until it crashed.

I got a bit bored and always busy in RL. So in my free time I've been playing other games.

I read something in this thread about the first HA?

As far as I know the first HA was mokk - I think I was the first plated HA with a heavy horse though  (not anymore, courser ftw)

I miss the Times with
- Archers in Bride-Dresses
- Tennenoth as Commander of our battles.
- Ladderpulting my own people up to the walls

I also liked those times when no one had a own banner implemented... and I like the possibility to have own banners now.

I still remember not so long ago they finally changed the gold/xp tick system to what it is now.

I am glad they decided to do that, with the old system, noobs like me will never get decent with anything. Neither skills nor equipments.

I really miss the old gold/xp gain system. Sure gold gain was slow as hell. But keep in mind there was no upkeep at all and prices was better with gear way cheaper than today.

And it just felt so special to advance from gear to higher gear to higher and etc.

I remember when i was a newbie and had saved all my money and finally bought my own first cool Heraldic mail with surcoat =) Those were the times.

Sure Tincans were annoying at some times and Plated Elephants too but they were slow as hell and it was easy to take them down with the right approach.

Now you get 7k gold or so in like 2 hours MAX.

I miss those old times ;( Feels like it's not only cRPG but other games as well where patches ruin the feeling.

When we only had one EU server with 50 slots that restarted every 30 minutes and we always ended on our natural home that is ruins.
