yeah monooke is great and was the first one i saw,  followed by howls moving castle.  they are great.

fucking great!  an average joe that turns his life around under the advice of a friend and with the goal to "become filthy rich and sleep with a lot of women"

ofc not a party movie but a nostalgic story well told,  very french,  very entertaining if you like these kind of movies.

I actually find Princess Mononoke to be the best of them. I haven't seen them all yet, though, just that one, Howl's Moving Castle, Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service.

I always have a hard time deciding between Princess Mononoke & Samura X: Trust & Betrayel as my favorite anime. Either one is top notch in my book.

If you're interested in the french revolution and the time after it, I recommend especially these 2 movies

La révolution française - Two parts of it: 1. Les Annés lumières / 2. Les Annés terribles, A movie about the the years between 1789-1794, all events between 1789-1792 and the terror regime of 1792-1794 are described detailed and very authentic

Just a clip with different scenes because trailers sucked back then


If you want to see a very realistic and profound film about the battle of waterloo I recommend this one

Especially watch this clip to get an impression of the enorm expense in realistic troops sizes, definitely worth of watching.
