you might as well be one of the jihadists burning american flags after 9/11 and celebrating the death of american civilians, except even worse because you are injecting politics into a natural disaster.  america and its people (including me) were first responders or constant fundraisers/donators to disaster relief internationally such as the haitian earthquake or the indian ocean and japanese tsunamis.

american foreign policy is pretty shit I agree, but there are times where people should respect our shared struggles and common humanity.  it is a shame it often takes large scale disasters for things like that to happen, but they should be reminders that we are all people, and sometimes every person can need help.
