Good nerf. Finally cav have to figure out why medieval peps started to use different lances than one known as heavy lance. Totally justified. Want good couching ? Take great lance.

This is a good first step.

Now, please remove all body armor from horses, and make the lances do cut damage.

This nerf is ridiculous, i can either pay for a hell ton of more gear, or just go on foot and get more kills/do much better and save lots of money.
Its stupid.
Please do one of the following:
Increase length of lances
Greatly reduce the time you are on the ground after your horse is killed
Double current couching damage
Half the speed bonus increase horses take from other sources (don't touch teh speed bonus they deal) IF that can't be done, double horse health and double damage ranged does to horsies.

Couching damage of a heavy lance should stay about the same as it is now, but the poke poke damage should be higher. Not worth the gold atm. Not sure if +10 reach is worth +2 damage of regular unloomed normal lance compared to +3 heavy lance. HL is a ton slower and makes 2 points less damage even fully loomed. Especially when considering the fact that the heavy lance is so expensive.
