Most of you won't care about this, so stop reading now. For the rest of you:
It's been an interesting experiment, Strategus. This was my first strat round (barring sitting on the map doing literally nothing for strat 3), and while I see that it has many things that are interesting about it, there are several reasons why after this upcoming battle I will be handing over my assets to the first person available and quitting.
- Health reasons: Playing on NA has the added difficulty that I'm an EU player, and thus the lack of sleep and erratic times of being able to do so have been almost literal murder on me. I can no longer allow a game to adversely affect my health.
- Stress: Being in a position of leadership in my first strategus round has been overwhelming, while it has also been interesting and I've met many great people, I do not cope well with stress - it's a main factor in why my doctor has me signed off from working.
- Drama: I thought the ninja/weeaboo hate was bad before, but now I realise that when you step into strat, it's a whole new level. I have to get out of that area before I start hating this community so much that I can't stand to even play the regular game anymore, because I do love cRPG.
In that order. I shall be handing over whatever I have left after this coming battle tomorrow, then since I own New Peshmi, I shall also be handing that over before I leave. I would very much appreciate it if everyone would leave my unarmed 100 man army alone to do this, since it will expedite my leaving, which is in your interest as much as it is in mine.
Thank you for the experience, and good luck with the rest of the round.
