I actually know a guy that lives in Finland and works for the company that made this, to bad I'm not one of his closest friends lol.  He handed out free special edition keys.

Disappointed that the camera doesn't shift depending on if your on a wall/ceiling.

Always been one of my main gripes with NS, the wallrun implementation is weak. They should have ripped off the mechanics from Aliens vs Predator 2, those were fucking amazing.
Don't.

Even tho I generally prefer FPV I do kind of think aliens should be 3rd person. means alot less work for camera shifting and just kind of makes more sense.

anyway fayde with invis is too much fun  :D

Well, imagine being a skulker trying to climb a wall in 3rd person, while trying to look down. Won't work. Also, having 3rd person gives some advantages over the marines. 3rd person enables you to see around corners without going around them yourself. Nope, would be bad.

The only game I've played as much or more than crpg is the original ns.

I haven't bought the 2nd one yet. I'm not sure if it's because I'm scared that it sucks or that I get sucked into it.  :?

NS 2 is the first thing on my list when I have money for games again.Even before Borderlands 2 and the BF 3 DLC´s.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Nah guys, check it:

This guy is a boring player, but you can see him using the wall crawl there and there, and it's a flawless mechanic. Would work just as well for skulks.

The URL is right, but embedding is disabled on that video for some reason. Just follow the link from the title.

Fair bit of wall climbing going on from 3:20 onwards, although the guy moves quite slowly and timidly. Couldn't find any better vids of it on youtube, just turned up stuff from the newer game, which was shit.
Don't.

I think he is going slow and headbiting each time cause he has the difficulty up quite high. In MY memory at least, Alien was the easiest campaign of AVP2, then Pred, and marine was the hardest...but I DID do Alien first so I probably ramped the difficulty up to max before doing marines.

That game was badass in SO many ways, but the mechanic of climbing walls/ceiling was definitly one of its best made features.

Funny thing...I remember the graphics being better, funny what memory does huh?

Fucking loved AvP2, specially the multiplayer. Can't recall much of it, I just remember I had tons of fun.

OMG memories now coming back of leaping onto marines in Multiplayer...that game was boss. Also getting memories now of the storylines being actually interesting in singleplayer, and feeling stupidly underpowered as a marine in singleplayer, watching my movement scanner thing, pitch dark room IRL, pitch dark corridor ingame, dropping my last flare, counting the bullets and being really scared.

AvP2 had the most bad-ass gamemode of all - but i don't remember how it was called. Survival-something.

You had one team playing as either the marines or the corporates, the other team as aliens. Marines started out in larger numbers and had a minute to prepare. Then the aliens spawned and attacked, respawning after death. Whoever they killed, also respawned as an alien. The objective was for the human team to survive as long as possible.

Was freaking awesome, with all these random players working together, fortifying in groups in defensible positions, then waiting patiently, rifles at the ready...
