Wow, fighting 2 direction poles is now even more horrible than before since they don't even need to lolstab wiggle in order to inflict maximum damage. Just thrust with your 2 meters long weapon at facehug range and it's fine.

Fix the awlpike atleast, that weapon is 200% broken, when it hits me theres half a centimeter between the point and my character. RL cm's

I feel like I need to stand right next to someone for it to not glance off. Its actually a very short range weapon if you want to use it reliably

i do admit that when i use 45+ body armor you need to be close but tbh i cant always play with that heavy armor, on my mail hauberk it néver glances and when it does hitn it takes a shitload HP away.

Awlpikes are nothing nowadays. Just block down.

Lawlpikes, which were more of a term used when they had polestagger, now that was broken! Mostly 2-hit enemies and you had a 50 % chance of getting polestagger on a hit which meant a free hit afterwards. Ridiculous.

yeah you would know how it is to have RL half a centimeter between "the point" and your character when you at last hit it, EH?

Think of it like running at a person with a spear.  If you are not careful you might run into the spear tip.   Even if you are in his face, there's a chance you might trip and stab yourself.
