I would rather see a respec bonus than one for retirement.

< 32 50% xp loss
> 32 40% xp loss
> 33 35% xp loss
> 34 30% xp loss
> 35 25% xp loss (45 million xp loss instead of 90)

I worked so hard to have my perfect infantry/throw/cav build on 34, I don't think I'll ever throw that away one day.

Fack loom points !

Yes, Awesome. Once i hit 32...will do.

Only reason why i'm going for 32 is cause i want some extra cool stuff and more looms. Need 300 MW's.

A fully masterworked equipment doesn't mean shit against a level 34 character, you should be happy you made the right choice

Only thing about lvl 32 that I like: I can tribridize. Normally I'm a hybrid, but with this build, I can get 120 2h, like 80-90 pole and 100 xbow. Perfect for all situations!

Thinking about it, might go 1h/pole hybrid...

I can. Though I don't use them ALL in one map. Usually it's 2h/pole(as I'm mounted). But if there's a signficant pike/HA majority, the lance gets dropped in favor of the xbow.

But I can pick up a dropped spear and use it if need be on the ground, or an xbow if so inclined. I just can't stand those bullshit 160 wpf 21/15 builds. Pure just isn't what this game should be about. Should be about having fun. And I like to play a bunch of classes, so I make sure I can have fun. If i continue my build out to level 34, I'd add either throwing or 1h/sheild into it. Why? Cause I fuking can and it will be fun.

Even my alts(save for the archer) are pretty much hybrids too. Then again, I only play most to level 20. Only got 3 alts of level 20 and 2 of them are themed characters(Roman legionary and the pope!

only 5 loom points for lvl 34 isnt worth it.
should be 10 points based on the xp grind.

any retiring at 31 gives you quicker gratification, leveling to 34 takes months or even almost a year for me.

^This.  I'm 2 million away from 33 and I'm dying slowly because I do not enjoy my build...but don't want to respec and lose the 17 million exp.  I only played once (last night) in the last two-three weeks.
great, you don't enjoy the game because of your build but you dont want to change your build (so you can actually enjoy the game) because of some pixel amount of xp?

great, just great

Looms are overrated and you stop caring about them after the first 3-4 MWs. Seems like most people love hording MWs and racking up the useless in game gold though for the lulz (tincan upkeep?). Keep your looms and "hall of fame," I'm going to lvl34 so I can be OP and wreck scrub peasants.

I hit 33 for the first time ever 2 weeks ago, never leveling a character past 31 before.  It took me at least 4 or 5 months of mostly Strat battles to get that far, and I had a pretty nice level 33 build for pure 2 hander, without getting bored of it because I only did Strat.

Guess what I did 2 days ago, and lost 22 million XP?  I said FUCK IT and respecced just to swap stats around and put riding in my build, because I missed my horse.

What's great about respeccing at this high level is that you can optimize your build for level 32 and just leave IF or WM or something to fill in at 33.  Just go ahead and pull the trigger on that respec.  17 million is only 2 gens, except you will be an OP level 32 character instead of underleveled and bored for 8 million XP of it.

Being high lvl is an advantage vs "normal" lvl 30 players, and now more loompoints should be given too? Any other way to reward 24/7 players and shit on the casual players?
