So I've been thinking about stuff at work again.
1) We desperately need to schedule a clan event. There's been a mix of new/interested players around recently, and I don't think there has been a recent opportunity to gauge skill/maturity level or to really get more practice as a squad going.
I should be available almost the entire weekend and would be happy to help coordinate some of this. I was thinking we could work on some group tactic type stuff: ie have teams of 3v3 or 5v5 based on the knight/baron squire/page system battle each other to get some practice playing with each other (and of course gain bragging rights!). Then perhaps we could have a larger battle with two captains picking complete teams and practicing with giving direction in battle and working with people etc.
Morr I remember you talking about some ideas as well. If you see this do you have other stuff you were interested in trying out?
2) Perhaps council could get together and talk about the roster at this time as well? I know that with people leaving the clan/being inactive/being promoted we seem pretty thin in the knight department and perhaps it could be a good time to look at possible promotions for some people in the clan, or maybe removal of others on the roster based on being inactive for a long time without notice.
I wanted to get this idea rolling because I know clan events are usually a lot of fun and it might help bring everyone together at the same time.
What do people think about this Saturday from 8PM - 10 or 11 PM Eastern Time (August 20th)? I figure we'd be able to disconnect from c-rpg temporarily so that we can lock our server for a bit.
I'll bring this up tonight when I'm on TS.
