After his reunion with Oda, the two sat together with the other men and Oda brought the Archon up to speed on all that had happened since his departure.  The Archon was pleased with the efforts of Oda and the other men, and he suggested to them that although he has returned, for now he will leave many things in their able hands as he continues his spiritual journeys. 

With the fire swirling before them in the snow, Elindor turned to his men and explained...
"The Lord has taken me far and wide, and shown me much.  Much of His will is unknown to me still, but this I do know - He has called me to return here, and to take up my sword again in His name..."

It's good to be back into the swing of things especially with the new maps! Also I was thinking we should make a HG themed faction for the commander battle thoughts? Also phew you don't crutch on looms you crutch on the enemy's skulls!

I'm out of town this weekend, so I put my looms in the armory. Keep them bathed in the blood of our foes in my absence!

It is official, Tojo has put down the sword and shield. In its place his new weapons of choice are the Bec de Corbin and the Hunting Crossbow!!!

As Tojo returned from his prayer journey he felt almost young again...

I plan on human (neckbeard/supernerd) hunting with my xbow and I will use my Bec to smite the enemy. If I hit another HG member just think of it as a love tap.

While you are polearm, try a Long Bardiche too. Used one of those my first 6 gens, and was usually near the top of the scoreboard without ever pressing my right mouse button.

Current armor soak/reduce values favor high cut weapons over pierce weapons, even on very heavy armor. At least if you have a lot of power strike.

I'll try it out Phew, mostly using the Bec 'cause it has 120 reach which makes it closer to 2H length which I like better for close quarters.

My team probably won't like me playing with bardiche though LOL...

Tojo was sitting at his desk writing a letter to Kesh by the beam of light cast down from his window. The letters contents were not words he wished to write...
Earlier that week he had an urgent message from the FCC's Commander, Kesh. She wrote that a Draeth had been sent on a mission of the most valiant nature. He was to take his men of only 600 to attack the marching Frisian army of over 1500. His goal was to stop the Frisian army from advancing, while simultaneously protecting a large FCC trade caravan. Truly as suicide mission, he accepted it with honor reminding Tojo of his Bushido code he was trying to uphold himself. Just as Tojo began to day dream about his days past the gate horn was blown signaling a friendly arrival.

Tojo got up quickly and left his room for the village entrance where he could see who was coming in. He expected some survivors from the battle and was hoping for good news. As the friendly soldier rode into view, Tojo could only see two a much number less than he expected. The allies made their way to the gate and Tojo could now see their faces, "Draeth! ERYALUS! You made it out alive!" he yelled out. They greeted him heartily and they told him how they made the Frisian army bleed. Tojo was glad they were back and swore to them that their effort was not in vain.

Alas friend, I cannot claim much bloodshed as my own, for the intricacies of ranged combat elude me yet.  *I gesture towards the exquisite bow strung over my shoulder* And it shames me to fall short in doing this beautiful gift justice.  Perhaps I ought return to my shield and hammer, or try my hand at the large blades our companions favour so...
