Mate, no offense but it's the internet ;) I found his avatar adorable so i took it as mine aswell. What's the big deal? He obviously found it on google, as hundreds before him. And no disrespect, but didn't try to "usurp" Bifi's position :S Changed my avatar anyways.
An avatar is an identifier for a particular person, it more or less says "this is who I am" and particularly if you use the same one for a long, long time, it becomes what people first look at when they read a post and that says who it is. When you used the same avatar as Bifi, I read the post as if it was Bifi typing it before I realised that it wasn't him.
It's a defining feature for people and although it doesn't matter in the slightest if two people use the same avatar, it's bloody confusing!
However, I am one of those people who likes familiarity, I was even fooled when someone from the clan joined the server as "Guard_BS_Tenne" and typed something, I thought I had typed it and corrected the punctuation mistake "I" had made before realising that it was someone else so maybe my thoughts on avatar identifiers is a little bit wrong!
