NY should be a three-way tie between dan, san, and sauce(hudson). They are all equivalent on the battlefield, all terrifyingly effective and good.

I'm sure when I've played with Dan before on battle I've managed to kill him. San is still one of the players I see though and go, "ehhh, maybe I'll go fight someone else".
