Changelogs and Remove the server filter

I am AMAZED that the mod has an auto-updater all its own, but yet you still can't post a changelog (maybe even...in the auto-updater or I may be insane).   I just had to have Master_Killer tell me that you could jump-shoot xbows again.

I'm sure y'all giggle about it.

While I'm at it:  I absolutely HATE the perma-filter in CRPG.  I'd like to see if people are on other mods sometimes without another program loaded.  It's just straight annoying and there is no reason for it than "lolz makes more people just log on to CRPG."

I'd like to see an option on the launcher to Filter Servers or not, and the launcher would remember your last choice, so that you can load CRPG and see other mods if you so desire.  Best of both worlds.

If you wish to see the population of other mods, launch native? I very much prefer the filter, since it is way faster and easier to get into cRPG servers this way.
Changelogs - at least partial - are available here.

Your first argument is an idiot argument.  "You should load up a whole nother program in order to check other mods of the same game, in order that I don't have to check the "filter" box to see only Crpg servers."  Which takes longer?  All I want to do is log out, check if PW has any people on for instance, and then if not, log back in to Crpg.  Considering the permafilter's ONLY advantage is negating 2 mouse clicks...I have to say that it is stupid as fuck.  I can't express myself any differently.  There is simply no good reason.

Your second revelation is dumb as hell: why do I need to log in to some Mantis crap to see a changelog for a public mod?  That looks like it is a bug tracker...you know...for Devs.  Am I a dev? No, I am a player.  I don't want to see your bug tracker, I want to see the actual changes that have been made this patch.

It's literally not even 5 minutes of work for a Dev to copy the Bug tracker list, clean it up a bit, and add it to a part of the launcher "Show Changelog."

If you are checking Mods, load Native.

You don't actually think you can load c-RPG, and then click to join a different mod do you? What happens? Ahh that's right! You have to launch a whole nother program!

Why should I have to load another module in order to JUST CHECK if another server on another mod is populated?  I know I will eventually have to reload the program to change, I always have.  I prefer to be able to load Crpg, default mod of choice, and then if there is no other good mod rolling, just join NA1.

Generally, in CS, restricting user choice for no reason is just plain wrong.  Does doing this improve Crpg loading speed?  Does it make less strain on the Strat servers?  Does it allow the devs to do some really cool new feature?

REVISED SUGGESTION:  I realize my statement above about user choice is the most correct.

So, put a checkbox on the launcher "Filter Servers" and have it remember your last choice.  Done, bada-bing-bada-boom.

There is literally no reason not to do this one.  Best of both worlds.

Well, GOSH, EXCUSE ME FOR TRYING TO ANSWER YOU.

Idiot.
