updated screenshots help....sort of a castle in the swamp being renovated? 
Yea, it's sorta a new stronghold being constructed in a marsh, but it's fairly small
and made of wood because all the bigger stone castles sunk into the marsh.
aesthetically, i would paint some other ground textures here and there for variance, like maybe sand along the shore lines a bit here and there, some earth somewhere, maybe a path texture or village texture in places where people would walk....etc.
maybe a bush or two? some rocks?
Yea I do have other textures in the ocean, under the half-built
structures in the settlement and along the... rivers? But I colored
the ground to change the shade of green. So, even though it's
re-textured I think everything ends up just looking green. ^^
I could try to add more color to it.

Also I did add in foliage and rocks, do you think I should have more?
I guess it doesn't show up in most of the screenshots because I
didn't put any in the settlement itself, which is where I took most
screenshots. But look at this one! ^^That's pretty much what I have all around outside the settlement
as far as foliage, also there are rocks out there too. (Just not in this
picture).
hmmm, I suppose I could add in more! Do you think I should?
