It's hard for me to believe that this could be even remotely a normal Golf ball. I've never suspected them to be this elastic 
true, it's hard to imagine.
put simply though, everything can be described with viscosity to some degree, meaning it behaves kinda like a fluid -- just veeeeeery slow and therefore with high surface tension if you will. or at least that's how I understood it as non-scientist.
