Why wouldn't they? Crpg and GW2 are two different games in two different genres. I don't think the point was to ever make some mass exodus from crpg to never return, but to find a nice group of guys to play with. You make a good point though, I doubt GW2 servers will shrivel up the way the old republic has, but server downsizing is inevitable. I think people will stay simply because of the fact that there are no subscription fees, but who knows how active they will be?
To be perfectly honest, most people in the NA community im really not interested in grouping up with at all aside from a few individuals from different clans. Maybe i'm more interested in rolling with EU guys simply because I don't know many of them very well. (For all I know they could be just as insufferable by and large.) Im also not too interested in dealing with language barriers, so I might forego trying to go with a crpg group entirely and just stick with the four or five from MM that plan on playing.
