Why no Shogun and Medieval in the poll?

i'd vote for Fall of the Samurai, but its not in the options.

Medieval II. I like the high variety of units compared to Shogun/Empire/Napoleon, and I just like the newer games more than the older ones because of the reworked strategy map (movement range instead of just dragging your armies/agents from one province to the other).

MTW is definitely the best in the series in my opinion, though beaten by modded RTW.

Rome was always my favorite, second would be MTW2

Favorite is M2, and for as much grief as it gets, i like shogun 2.  Is it just me or is Fall of the samurai much harder?  Did they improve the AI, or is it just impossible to assault keeps with decent size garrisons?  (not that im really having a difficult time of it, i just never lost a battle on shogun where i wasnt an underdog but here ive lost a couple of close sieges)

Original MTW was by far my favourite.

Medieval 1 and Shogun 1 were the best total war games by far.  Since then they have just spent money on their fancy strategy map without ever actually bothering to program the AI to use it.

Where's Shogun 1. I mean, it was a good game, thanks to witch a lot of people accepted the TW as a good brand.

Disregard this comment, this was before i had an abundance of sharpshooters and arty.  Sieges are caek again.

Medieval 1 was my favourite Total War game. It's the one that I enjoyed the most at the time, if you get what I mean. Viking Invasion was fucking epic too.

I would of voted for Medieval One.

I haven't played Third Age since 4.0. I heard that the locations actually look like they do in the movies now which sounds fucking awesome!

That's also one thing I've always hated in Total War games, the castles are always exactly the fucking same... I want some unique locations for once!!

But yeah, the maps are fucking awesome. Look exactly like in the movies. The atmosphere in the game is great... music from the movies, quotes, custom UIs, the map looks excellent (with landmarks like the statues etc visible).
