Can't change my name back, what to do?

My cRPG name is Nightingale (since early summer 2010) but about last 6 months I was known as Fallen_Nightingale. Recently I was dismissed from Fallen Brigade due to inactivity (which is fine by me, no hard feelings) so I wanna change my name back to Nightingale (Fallen_Nightingale->Nightingale). But there's already player with such name who'd registered long time after me! So what am I supposed to do now? Nightingale is my nickname cause I took it first. Or maybe there's the way to change the name completely not just removing tag? Oh and one more thing, reseting character isn't decision. I want to change my name (back or completely) without losing all my stats.

You can change your name to anything now, there are no more restrictions.

Also if you are active now you can re-apply for the Brigade, I remember you as one of the old members but haven't seen you around since september.

Yeah. If someone really already took your nick, make something like:

Nightingale_[put here something, like _the_Second or _the_Original ]

Ok thx, didn't know that. I still remember the times when changing nick was limited to adding/removing clan tags.
