Thats a good thing. Tanks should be the priority target for pilots, not infantry.

I see a lot of people complaining about rocket pods supposedly raining hell on infantry, and that makes me wonder : are those the guys that spend 99.99999% of their playtime out in the open with dozens of infantry teammates nearby ? Nubs had it coming.

Thats a good thing. Tanks should be the priority target for pilots, not infantry.

I agree, although I don't understand the way they want to change G2A defense. The skyguard needs a buff, not those stupid lock weapons.

The skyguard needs a buff, not those stupid lock weapons.
Maybe their reasoning about skyguards is that they should be less powerful than AA-MAXes, since MAXes are less mobile. Dunno. Anyway lock-on launchers should require leading the target to hit it.

True, I've been killed by pods like 5 times total. But you cant deny how easy it is to farm extreme amounts of xp and kills by simple rocketspamming.

These are the exact people (or rather people easily farmed for certs aka lemmings) that were complaining about certpods. I was serious when I said I was probably killed by certpods twice total.

Yeah, it's sad but players won't change unless they perceive they have reasons to. I don't think rocket pods are objectively OP right now, since you will get screwed by everything that can harm an ESF very fast if you start doing rocket strikes, it's just that many inf-centric players just want to ignore them entirely and complain afterwards when they get killed by something they blatantly did nothing to defend themselves against, or at least that's how I understand the whine.

Personally, I think my unattended deployed sunderers took a majority of the damage I or my vehicules ever got by rocket pods. However, when I play an air vehicule, I almost always get killed by ESF, which is normal (especially when as usual I start shooting an enemy fighter, get chased by another one and as usual despite the presence of lots of ESF allies in the area, I get 0 support).

Also, no flare buff, what the hell.

Fact is this tips the balance of air - ground largely in ground's favour, simply because of this:


The airpad is at about 200m, those dudes on the flightpad render at about 235m, so basically 35m render distance, this means in large fights ESFs need to get fuck close to infantry which will be instant death for the ESF.

Never experienced it so extremely. I do see maxes popping out of thin air sometimes though.

That happens to me even in infantry fights. Nothing better than running down a hallway wondering what's shooting at you when he pops up in front of u.

anyway when you are in the aircraft you see infantry only from really close distance

Ahhh and I need support in fight to free jumpjet.
No Mather what lvl you have there is no difference in fuel capacity and reload speed.
Do anyone know how to solve that problem?

I think you have two ornament slots, but I'm not sure, maybe it's only one.

Oh noes, they have stealth nerfed my AT mines.
Well, that makes my Sunderer suicide runs a bit more difficult.
Fortunately the mines still inflict the same damage, so i still can catch a few tanks with my (haha) minefields.

I feel like the effective radius for a lot of the HE vehicle weapons is some weak bullshit. Not just the rocket pods in the video above, but the HE cannon that the light tanks have can take upwards of 6 rounds to kill a single infantry from what I've seen/experienced. Not that I'm really complaining, I mainly play inf, but it must really make some people mad.
