What do I need to do to join up?

Spent most of my playtime to try NC/Vanu a bit, but on other servers, on Woodman I'll stay loyal.

I decided to start playing for real, rolled a TR soldier on Woodman, maybe we could team up or something even.
(Was a tough choice to give up the blue and the rock 'n roll damnit, but I like it so far.)

Please bear in mind that I have to play in a relatively small window and low settings, that really effects my combat awareness and performance, don't even get me started on the aeroplanes.

So I'm ready for duty, need any roles filled that don't require super-sharp reflexes? Not that I lack those, my config holds me back.
Hope they'll optimize the game further.

Edit: One thing I dislike so far, is that my gun is like a total peashooter, while others kill me in a second or less.

Where is the balance?

I have the same problem with my computer so I rolled engineer. It was nice to help out bases/tanks/aircraft that needed repairing without having to worry about shooting or killing anyone (because that wasn't happening with my computer). Sniper might work too if you're far enough away from the combat to not have it impact your fps.

Seriously though, the infantry part of the game is just pure bullshit.

Some people nail me in milseconds while I just scratch their shields, good luck fighting spoiled brats who probably have a constant FPS of 60 too..

Lol oops didn't notice you mate. Sent you a friend request now. PS many are frustrated at first, especially infantry combat. You just need to get used to it. Also, try to do this:

It has helped Miralay greatly, he had very bad FPS before he did this, now it works better.

Not sure if it was included in Vibe's link, but there's a rather odd fix for FPS that has worked with everyone I know who has done it (my entire clan and everyone I know who plays this) and that's changing your settings to ultra. NOT in game though, there's a specific line you copy and paste into your user settings folder in PS2 and for some odd reason it increases FPS and looks way better. I have a friend with a 4 year old computer, maybe older, and it took his FPS from 30ish on low settings to a constant 50-60 and this is on ultra. Some odd thing about it not using up all of your CPU or some such shit so it's hindering itself and this allows it to use your pc more effectively, idk, BUT I'd recommend anyone with FPS problems try it, no matter how bad or old your pc is. Because my friend didn't think it would work either on his old machine, yet somehow ultra graphics made the game ten times better for him. I'll get the link from my friend again when he is on.
