The game is great, I managed to go through some intense action. However, it's pretty rare to find people that are not lagging like hell currently. It plays smooth on my average rig, but I didn't even look at the graphics options, so I'll probably consider increasing. Also, I already feel like a total douchebag using my alpha squad camo.

Yeah, pretty miserable launch on SOE's account.  Hopefully things will be running smoother soon.  Seems they didn't quite expect so much traffic for the launch.

Anyway, i'll carry on adding people to the outfit as you all get in.

The PS2 devs are pretty good and I'm sure they'll be clamping down on all the bugs and errors as we speak, not that its an excuse.

Im a NA player, ive had no problem, launch is smoother than any MMO i can remember. One thing i dont like is palyers can just buy the best weapons in the game with real money, instead of spending idk how long it will take to get like1000 cert points or whatever.

The issue is mostly due to the fact a third party is used to host the EU servers while the NA ones are directly hosted by SOE then.

For EU players still have access problems, I did this and it worked like a charm with Steam version!

Basically, you're creating an USA account to use Steam version and then be able to select EU servers when game starts

What class is everyone playing? Still unsure on what to cert first. Thinking MAX or one of the support classes, aka engineer/medic.

I think i may CERT into Light Assault, pulled a sweet 10 or so kill spree yesterday with that, with 3 of those kills being by knife, whilst fighting for Biolabs

Focusing on prowler and light assault/engineer since engi and light assault use a lot of the same guns. Plus I get my best kill sprees in light assault and prowler. Really looking forward to my first gun. Spent all day today spending certs on te squad beacon and the acquisition timer for prowler. Now I'm just ready to shotty bitches.

The cert costs in each category have a brutal progression. I won't even try to focus, or at least not in the near future. Maybe I won't invest in some things like the vehicules I will only seldom spawn myself like the flash, liberator, galaxy and sunderer.

Fuck this, it still doesn´t work. Either I can log in with this crappy launchpad but then it freezes, or it crashes right when I start it.

Any solutions?

warlord did you try to things explained in the link i posted? it worked for me last night and I was able to play, but I can't play anymore because EU server Woodman went offline >

Yes, I am logged in with my like 6th account I made where I said my location is US.

I really got about 6 accounts now, 2 on that pro7 thingy, and 4 different ones on SOE.

Now I can select a server, but not Woodman ?

What if I select another one, will I be able to play on Woodman later?

You can play on Woodman with another char later, yeah. But your characters are bound to the server you made them on.

When you want to play in a different server later, you have to create a new character and then select the server you want to play in. Currently, I don't think it is possible to transfer a char from one server to another.
