I was in Stratia when the clan name was just "Hoplites" and our tag was "Hoplite_"

Onimaho, you, and myself are basically some of the last people who played back then who still play today.

What was the Hoplite banner? Also, at what point did the name change to Stratia? I remember Stratia_Onimaho ever-so-clearly, and Socrates mentions it from time to time.

RS's first banner was that white one with the red angry chicken/wyvern thing on it. After that, we (John) made a custom one with a white phoenix on a black background that took the slot of the former Gafferjack banner, that is, the half black, half white/red striped one.

You guys have a neat banner now, although I admit I did like seeing the laserface in-game, heh.

If I remember correctly we had the giant chickens foot on a grey and black banner, and it wasn't long before August 2010 that we changed to Stratia because we wanted something more professional.  Around then we also had rank names and position titles (peltastai for throwers and such.) And I wasn't aware Socrates still played, I guess that makes four of the original Hoplites still active.

Aside from that, I joined for Chivalry because I had a few friends in it (and Stratia was closed around then aswell) around August and we ended up forming Dracul around the same time RS was formed (October 2010)

Good times, hard to believe it's already coming to be two years since then, when we only had one server and we waited thirty minutes to get an update on our stats and equipment.
