Afaik you get the horseback penalty only if you're moving. So you could simply stop before shooting when using the build with less HA, at least if you're not being chased by enemy cav.

That's pointless.

Crossbow damage is not being effected by the HA skill. It's just aim. Stop spreading false information.

Your build seems nice so far callahan. You may think of having some shield skill as well. Cut from athletics or ironflesh if you'd like. Not a big problem if you do not though. Decide through playing experience.

Seems the fascists are gaining ground once again in UKR... right vving politics is SO bad for the general populace but STILL in times of trouble the uneducated turn to them for help, simply because they are so amoral they vvill supply those vvilling to fight vvith vveapons rather than knovvledge.

My UU key is broken incase you can't tell :D

Thanks. It's a hard choice, do I limit myself to just 12 bolts and bring a shield or just take a sword and have 24 bolts...

As it stands now, I'm usually stone cold dead before I go through 12 bolts, but I expect my survivability will increas when I get more levels. Dying or not, this is friggin great fun.

Do the same armor penalties to WPF effect you when mounted as when on foot? I'd really like to wear something besides light leather...nothing heavy, but maybe a Lamellar Vest when I can put more in str after the agility dump to get 3 HA.

I asked ROHYPNOL some time ago about hxbowery, he told me to get at least 3 HA skill and 130 xbow WPF. But even then i'd have to slow down a bit to get decently accurate shots.

Yeah, I'll have 150 crossbow skill and 4 Horse Archery. I try to slow down whenever possible, but sometimes I just can't because I'm being trailed by lancers and other horse.
