Austrian's needed for strategus help

harald ist im grunde der einzige der an strategus arbeitet so weit ich das sehe...
ich glaube wenn wir  ein paar freiwillige finden würden die hausarbeiten wie kochen,aufräumen,einkaufen etc. für ihn machen würden könnte er wohl wahrscheinlich mehr zeit in strategus investieren und es besser machen. Mach eine Tombola für die kosten, und ich bin sicher viele leute würden spenden.

Original post:  Harald is basically the only one working on strategus as far as I can gather...I'm thinking if we can get some volunteers to do some basic chores for him like cooking, cleaning, shopping, yard work, etc he could put in more time to making strategus a better game.  Start up some sort of a paypal fund for expenses and I'm sure a lot of people would donate.

If you need money for cleaning or cooking supplies, or transportation costs I'd be willing to put money towards a strategus fund, I bet others would too.

The in real life help isn't going to happen, but Harald told me that he is a freelance worker (aka a contractor), and that if we set up a fund, he would "work on strategus" like we were a paying client.  Example, we fund a day or a week's worth of cost and he would work exclusively on Strategus like we were a paying customer.

He said it would be about 500 Euro a day normally for a paying client (about $650 dollars), but he said he could do a full week of working on strategus for a few hundred Euro's.  I'm thinking a full "normal" days pay from a client should be what we aim to fund for him to work on strat for a week.  He said as long as this doesn't become a "regular" thing, he would be able to work on this.

I have no clue how to get a fundraiser going, or how to make sure the money actually gets to Harald...anyone familiar with this kind of thing?  I think we could easily raise $650 considering that the amount of people who play c-rpg on a regular basis is at least 300-500 (all it would take is $10 from 65 people).

Oh i see, this gets real serious!

First off all, i would make a list with all things what have to be done, changed and updated. I think Harald can tell you then how long it will probably take to do that job. Maybe he can tell then an actual price for programming it. Next step, pronounce this option and make a donate pot. I mean i also spent money for c-rpg to keep up the server running and i can imagine spending money here for programming ( cause i love and play c-rpg since 2 years now ), but how many other guys think in the same way?
I also thought about outsourcing some parts of this job, but i guess its better if 1 guy makes it cause he knows how to do it and it will be done in a week or so. Other benefit, you have 1 contact person if there are still some troubles.

But to be honest, im a bit unsure if there are more guys spending money for programming ( because its a "free game" for the most players ).

Most times you gotta outsource stuff like graphics. But all graphics are available already, for example on the c-rpg.net website.

The Eyecandy should be updated. some of the graphics are missing. but its nothing that really matters, in my opinion.
