PvP.
I don't know why any of you are even talking about anything else. Heart missions? You can't make a magic casting monk paladin? Do you wear your panties on your head or does your mom make you take them off? How do you even play cRPG with those kinds of complaints?
GW2 is a PvP game.
World vs World has more tactical and strategic depth than I've ever seen in any game remotely close to this genre. It blows all of the PvP out of the water for every other game. It's what we all hoped Warhammer would be, which was "a vast improvement over DAOC".
Maybe your experience was less than stellar if you joined WvW solo. It's "Guild Wars", not "Solo Wars", though, so get a guild. You can contribute solo, in the ways of puggies everywhere, but there's a whole lot more you could be doing as part of a larger team, especially an organized one.
Siege engines... the logistics of supply... keep defenses and attacks... many objectives to go for... ways that small numbers of players can destroy zerg armies... there's a lot of great stuff here. Combat is fun too but they really struck gold on PvP content.
The PvE looked interesting but I spent the entire weekend in WvW and am pretty sure I could spend the next year in there, at least.
