Well it obviously would be really careful match. If the other one was hospitaller and losing health to some threshold limit, they would just crash the server and his char would be saved...

You would see a ten minute match with careful strikes, rare be any tricks.
My duels with Urist never finish before 10 minutes anyway, just with the chance of permadeath I wouldn't intentionally die after hitting the 15 minutes mark. :)

If this condition were imposed I do think it would be a test of patience as cRPG is already, this is due to feints being high risk low reward here. I personally would stop chamber blocking even though I rarely miss, I would perhaps turn to backpedalling since it's by far the most effective duel tactic without little downside. Kicks would be used more carefully too, nobody would want to risk that stab coming in whilst kicking.

To be honest since I don't really play cRPG any more, I wouldn't be too worried about losing looms. I only play cRPG since the 22nd are here and thus only fight strat battles where my few looms aren't used anyway.

They might use their brain.

So far most of the duels consist of one person spamming with attack, and the other one blocking, or both of them behave like some circus monkeys, doing all these weird things and running around trying to smell each others ass.

That's true. Nobody puts all his efforts in all the battles he fights. If he is going to play with something at stake, ofcourse he's going to play better.

It is like adrenaline. It only comes when the situation is dire, increasing your reaction speed and senses.

Being under pressure also makes you do errors.

Some months ago I've dueled Jormglorm for a very long time, probably around 10-15 minutes mark. It was a block fest, indeed.

This is also true... i guess it differs on each person if they are resistant against pressure or not.

I like block fests <3

But I'm not very good at it. I do every kind of wrong block in battle mode then when I rage and go duel I always block much better :?

I would switch from courser to cataphract, put on my Milanese plate, and bump them for 15 minutes.

Fights would be adrenaline filled, but it would be very slow paced.

I wouldn't try to chamber
I wouldn't try to kick

I would probably do a lot of holds

There would be a lot of s - key.  There would be a lot of plate armor and long reach.

This would also cut playerbase in half, because most people would rage quit :D

well... I would WIN

why?

let's say a 3/41 built with 13 ath...

one day he'll lost his patience...

So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

Rhalzo's already in Chaos' cooler older brother clan, he's fine riding his motorcycle around in a leather jacket smoking cigarettes with GIRLS, our little treehouse isn't his speed anymore.
