Screaming Trees needs to GTFO. Worst map ever.

(This is Kolee. I also am surprised at how many screenshots I'm in. God, that's embarrassing.)

It's nice to have a forest map.
You just hate it because both your throwing AND crossbows are fucked in this map.
Though he could tone the objects down a bit. Lags like a mother fucker.

I want blood arena to stay, its a truly balanced map.
Nominations:
Forest hideout
Ryiblet ruins
Burning of the ships
City siege
Ruined castle
Tulbuk pass
Two forts
Ice age
Field Two
Bridge over Trub water
Screaming trees

Many of these can be saved, I would encourage mappers to poll players and fix maps that they want to save. Thanks to all the mappers.

I am in favor of a smaller rotation, perhaps instead of voting down maps, it would be better to create a poll page to vote up maps ,with the maps that are the most popular ending up as the new rotation.

I was really glad to see my moria map voted down, after spending over 80 hours making, editing, re-editing and re-re-editing that cursed bag of bugs I never want to see it again. Conclusion: M&b is not meant to have indoor maps, all such maps are bound to be buggy.

I really am glad to see so many people posting thoughtful dissemination of maps, it is hard for mappers to get good feedback, thanks to all those who took time to voice thoughts.

First of all, the blood arena was one of the best maps. just my 2 cents
      - The map was pretty much balanced for all classes
      - Melee stayed in spawn
      - Archers went to the tower
      - And cav pretty much roamed around the map

Second of all, the map, "Screaming Trees", is too buggy with -
      - Invisible walls
      - Fps Slow down
      - Jittery trees
The map Screaming trees could be better if there were less trees and invisible walls but other than that it is awful.
So i favor for the removal of the map "Screaming Trees"

Aww you guys are mean.
He put a lot of effort into that map. The tree models extend outward from the trees,
there are no invisible walls (except at the edges of the map).

-1 for Screaming Tree removal?  :?

You can't -1 :P

It's pretty lame to use xbow, archery, or throwing in this maps. You shoot/throw next to the tree and your bolt/arrow/throwing weapon sticks in midair and your target is safe. Happens too often , and if you look at other maps with trees, this doesn't happen so you can't just blame it on the model :P

I know we aren't supposed to discuss things in more detail but, whatever:/

As the maker of Screaming Trees, I  understand the issues people have with the map. I am working on a new version that gets rid of the forcefield thing around trees. That is caused by doubling the size of the object. The new map has only trees that are standard size so the forcefield is not noticeable. The second issue is the amount of objects in general. I am tring to lower this as much as possible while maintaining some level of lushness that makes the map what it is. Its damn hard to do because the game engine is just not the most dynamic one out there unfortunately.

Nominations for removal:

Ambushed
Tulbuk's Pass
Frontier
Blue Bells & Beech Trees
Bridge over Troubled Water
Field 2
Screaming trees
Forest Bridge

The last two mainly due to the vast amount of invisibile foliage, they'd be a fine if those issues got fixed, although I know several people whose computers disagree with the vast amount of trees on screaming trees, to the point where it's not playable at a large playercount. It is one of my favorite maps despite all the issues, but I'd prefer to see it go than to keep it broken as it is.

I made kings arthurs pass and messed up placing barriers.  The new version with working barriers is awaiting a server restart.  I dont know if that is why you nominated it or not, but I understand people climbing the mountain was very annoying.  They can not get out of the canyon now.

By the way, even tho moria was buggy, I liked your eye for detail and thought you did a good job making it.  The map making tool just doesnt like some things and can really mess some creations up.

I nominate Screaming Trees to be removed. The map gives me and several others terrible FPS and input lag, has invisible tree hitboxes all over, and I've encounted several spots where you can get stuck and be unable to move.

These are my map removal nominations.  Note there is nothing wrong with these maps I just think we have too many in the rotation and CRPG is getting boring because we have played the same maps for far too long.

FOREST HIDEOUT
RUINED FORT
PORT ASSAULT
BURNING OF THE SHIPS
CITY SIEGE
WINTER LUMBER
RUINED CASTLE
NORD TOWN
MIJAYET
VILLAGE OASIS
ICE AGE
BOULEVARD
BLUE BELLS AND BEACH TREES
