interesting post...

all i always hear (from EU guys mostly) is that EU is great and NA is a bunch of smacktard idiots with no skills...which may be true

seems some of the EU guys def have a chip on their shoulder though, which isn't so endearing...and of course there are NA guys who smacktard, and it can be annoying, but for every smacktard there are 20 others trying to play the game "seriously" - that is, not trolling. 

of course, it could just be that much of the NA community is too baked to be serious jerks
but i would figure EU would be the same way...?

One other thing, the polls are dumb.  I'm glad we don't see them very often in NA.  I've been the victim of it once before where I got kicked because it was 2v2 (a thrower and me on horse) vs 2 pikemen, apparently they wanted me to dismount and fight the pikemen.  I was waiting for MOTF (which happened 30 seconds later) and as I was on the flag and fighting the pikemen i got kicked off the server (and the retards on my team lost their x5 because I was about to win).

ive played on both communities and they are pretty much the same. NA has more insults due to common language and eu has more polls due to well fuck knows but i dont notice a massive difference. It depends a lot on what server you play on and when. saying EU or NA players do this or that is pretty much one mega generalisation

Part of the oddities in this thread arise from EU players playing EU on EU primetime and then NA in the same hours (NOT primetime), thus viewing a completely different crowd. NA has the flipside of the coin, playing on EU during odd hours that are Prime Time in their native timezone but not in Europe. At least, this is my opinion. *shrugs*

to be fair i did work nights/evenings for about 30 weeks last year so i cant have been playing far off NA primetime.

And to be fair you are saying they are pretty similar, which I agree with. In forums they may be different a bit, but I certainly agree that in-server the insults fly a tad more freely (probably due to the common language) on NA and the ban polls a bit more on EU.
