How fucked up is your language?

Let me start with english.

Take the word "piss" for example.

We now have 4 meanings for the word "piss" and i'll put them in a sentence for you, with the meaning in brackets.

"Im really pissed (angry) that they take the piss (make fun of me) out of me while I'm pissed (drunk) trying to have a piss (wee) on the toilet."

I mean wtf?

Butterfly means "SCHMETTERLING!!!!" in my language.Tell me that´s not fucked up.Especially if "Schmettern" means to dash something.

Oh well, just visit 9gag, it has plenty of those pictures with language comparison.And guess what, the weirdest ist mostly german.

Probably only funny if you understand German though. He just takes german words which sound similar to the English ones and in most cases it is funny. :)

I like the word "Schmetterling".

EDIT:

"Führerschein", yes, not a joke. It is german for driver license. I bet "Führer" is a well known word. The meaning is "führen", kinda "lead" your car, being able to drive.

Another nice example which just came into my mind: The German word FLUGZEUG (Airplane) literally translated means "flight stuff"...

I think there still exists that old-fashioned/bureaucratic expression "Fahrzeugführer" ("vehicle leader") for driver...

Hmm well.

Telling someone to "fuck off" doesnt really have a literal meaning as far as I can tell, it's just a way to insult somebody. Fuck can mean fornication as well as "Im fucked" meaning something like "I'm really tired" or "Im really screwed".
