Need help with an issue

Well, i really have no idea how to solve this and it is making the game unplayable. I will just explain the situation as detailed as possible, maybe someone else had a similar issue. Note: this only happens when i play cRPG/warband.

Started happening a few days ago, i press the lmb and nothing happens, i press it again and my char chambers the weapon for 3 seconds and then releases it. Fps issues i thought. (i never had them on this laptop) I start up fraps and the fps oscilates from a steady 120 to 90 or 80 at the lowest. Then i close all programs that might be causing lag (altho my ping at the time was 45-50 which is the regular ping i have) I try again to swing or block: sometimes my char holds the swing too long, i literaly press lmb and he just holds it - i release the mouse and he is still holding it, the same happens with blocks, sometimes it just doesent react to what i press at all.

Tried putting the mouse in the other usb port, to no avail (the mouse and everything else is working perfectly on every other game/program).

The best clue/lead i have is: When i click the lmb or rmb there is a beeping sound ocasionaly comming from my laptop, it may be the one from pressing too many keys at the same time ??? Or a memory leak/hard drive failure as i read, but i have no idea why it would happen only in cprg

I cannot fight and thus cannot play, please help me

try a different mouse first.  sounds like you've worn your current one out

It functions perfectly outside of crpg, i dont think the mouse is the problem

did you update drivers recently? could try rolling them back if you're using an older card

If nothing helps and you run out of clues to go for... backup your personal files, format the hdd and set up the whole pc again with a fresh windows.
Windows is known for collecting useless data-waste, slowing even peripheral devices down.
Just make a check-list and go through it. So far we ruled out the mouse when it's working just fine for everything else.

Mouse. Check
Soundcard.
Grahpiccard.
HDD.
RAM.
CPU.
OS.

Nothing else I can come up with right now. Besides, remote diagnostic is never really working

I found myself having this issue sometime aswell, dunno why but when i try to spam too much, i just got chambered weapon for few seconds and then release while i do not press anything, happens like 1 in 500 ocassions, but still pisses me off. I would suggest try checking the usage of ram, even tho it might not be connected, last time i played i managed to fill all my ram up (8gigs) somehow.

I've read something over at the steam-forum in some old thread. Guys there were saying that M&B has a memory-leak.
They are stating that it only seems to occur in fullscreen-mode. Playing in window-mode is supposed to help. Maybe give it a try?

I do know situations where my weapon would be hold in position and not release by itself. Just another mouse-click and it gets released. Happens not too often and like Cepe said might be connected with spamming. No idea.

try to make lower or lowest settings and check if its still like that. if its still there then its probably not your hardware.
and we can look at other things

I have installed the latest graphical drivers, the problem seems to be gone so far but now i have a major fps drop - its down to 50-60 and even worse when i enter battle

Do not mind low fps, i got it reduced like by 20-30 in general after last update, YAY for all the shit new armors i guess.

Yea, I was thinking the same. The textures may be a bit too high-res for the engine/120-slot server.

Got an air compressor from a friend and blew the insides of my laptop, ill see how the game functions now
