I would  love to see this implemented, we agi-whores have no good armours to go with. This would give us something pretty to wear.

What do you people think about these landsknecht leather jerkins(and hats)? One or two in the mod would be awesome, generally there aren't many good looking light-mid armours in the game...

Creator of these armours and hats, Bayard-X and also Zimke who did some editing(and made awesome Turkish and Byzantium stuff), gave the permission to use it in cRPG :)

Nobody would wear that hat in such a messed up manner. He can't even see what is at his left due to the way he wears the hat. If he wears it in a bit of a normal fashion I want that hat so I can be a pirate.

I propose the ability to add cosmetic hats on top of your helmets, like TF2.

I would like to wear this hat at all times to be stylish but still be protected by my barbutt.  and also put about 50 other hats on top of it



Alternatively may we please have this hat please already please

Eh. There's a limit, in my opinion, just how far we can go. Renaissance gear might look good, but next we'll have no reason not to sport Greek linothorax armor with hoplon shields and sarissas. There has to be a line in the sand, somewhere.

Upward (in time) that line is guns. Downward, there's a giant gap between early middle age equipment and antique roman and greek stuff.

Well, after addition of this items, I don't need anything else from Renaissance really... And these items are afaik from late XV century, in Italy Renaissance emerged much earlier, while in other countries there's still "dark medieval" :P
Greek linothorax is totally out of mod timeframe... I'm against adding Roman items(of course thinking about Aurelius' legions' armour LOL), this is really odd. But if someone would come up with eg. Hun/Avar/Pecheneg/Cuman, Prussian, Irish, Saxon/Briton, and nice looking early western medieval items(eg. Charlamagne era), I wouldn't mind it of course.

But cRPG timeframe is that with guns :P There should be handguns, arquebuses, etc. but of course that kind of stuff would totally change balance and that's why they're not in the mod(well that's what I think :P)

A simple matchlock might not even alter the balance (as ranged spam is OP already anyway). It's because this is supposed to be a medieval game, and guns totally destroy the feeling of it.

But guns are the part of medieval :) Mod has flamberg, greatswords, milanese and gothic armours(and other heavy western) - all of that is from time when firearms were used on the battlefields like other ranged weapons. Should that items be erased from the mod? For me guns don't destroy medieval feeling at all(handgun, arquebuses and other early firearms). But I suppose that all those people that wear different mails and kuyaks want the mod to be set in Dark Ages(the times before Italian Renaissance). Well for me that period is rather plain, a bit boring and "dark", and imho later centuries are much more interesting and rich in military matters, and the mod profits by this(as well by arabian/byzantine/rus/weaboo stuff)

I like the armor but the hat looks like it's stapled to the side of his head.
Oh, the sword looks nice too, but we can never have enough hats.
