Please change the black armor.

There I can only find the new black armour with stripes, but as I understood the topic the old black armour received a new model/skin. If I understood right, could somebody please post a screenshot or so? I'd like to see the difference, to be able to judge if the new one is better. But honestly, when I think about the old model, pretty much anything new can only look better 


People wore black armours. It was some kind of blue-black, and was mostly used in the (really) late medieval ages and the beginning of the Rennaissance, but still. The effect wasn't that severe, I suppose. And the Knights Hospitaller wore a black surcoat in the fuckin' desert! That's not much better. 

The black armor is like the black armor with stripes, but with a different pattern on the cloth.

I really like having a large variety of armors to choose from and I was really excited when I heard that new armors were implemented. More armors are always nice but there was no reason to remove the old Black Armor model. Sure it looked out of place, but hardly anyone ever used it.

Why can't we just keep the current Black Armor models but give them new names and bring the old Black Armor back?

The old black armor was horrible, I'm glad to see it gone.  It was clearly unfinished which is probably why it is disabled in Native.  In my honest opinion the heavy plate armor should likewise be replaced.

Its awesome now in cRPG we have Vikings , Saracens , Crusaders , HRE , Byzantine , Mongol , Japan Empire , Ottoman Empire and Post-Renaissance Pikemen , Reiter armor at the same time.

I think it's a little sad that the item was just changed over to new stats and everything, I have to kind of wonder if it was an accident to essentially replace the old black armor completely.

I know, that's why I said "to essentially replace the old black armor completely" I know it's got a new texture, and the new stats just don't make sense to me.

When I think of the old black armor, I always thought: "Who the hell goes into battle wearing metal armor that's painted black? You'd pass out from heat exhaustion in 2 minutes."

Adding these new black armors is something I've been hoping for a long time, it's almost like a dream come true. No more cheap proxies for pikeman armor.

I'm not sure though if it's very nice from the development team to change item statistics as much as happened with the black armor. I mean it used to be the super heavy armor of the game. Now it's a (heavy) medium armor with not that admirable statistics. I'm sure some people are going to have to go through a potentially expensive trading process to get their hands back to heavy armors. Couldn't the old black armor stayed? I'm sure there will be a good heavy armor replacement for it.
