I wasn't aware "our little ventrilo" was about having the most elite c-rpg players.  Here I thought it was just enough to talk to some people on the internet that I get along with and that I like to talk to.

I'm going to have to reassess my life goals now.  Since I don't associate with the best of the best in the c-rpg community obviously my life is no longer worth living.  I'm going to put some Peter Gabriel on, run a hot bath, slit my wrists, and wait for everything to fade to black.

Anytime I read anything you post, or hear you talk out loud, if it irritates me even in the slightest, I think about it for a minute, then I remember: "Goresaw probably was was listening to metal while wearing jorts when he posted that!" and then I smile and remember that things will never be that bad for me. I've got long pants on, and no matter what I'm listening to I know it has at least some musical merit.

Could it be that we like the company of different people, and maybe we enjoy talking to those people in 'our little ventrillo'?  That could explain why on any given day there are more of us laughing and having a good time than have collectively logged into any of the 3 teamspeaks the rest of LLJK has been crashing in for the last 4 months.

I don't know, just a thought I had, and it's probably wrong.

Until Eyebeat's teamspeak was abandoned,  pretty much everyone in the ventrilo was also in the Teamspeak. Similarly, everyone in the ventrilo was contributing troops, gold, and goods to Smoothrich on a regular basis - I dropped off something like 30000 gold the week before he went crazy.  Nilstryfe even went as far as to kill his golden goose Fallen refugees as soon as Smoothrich declared war on them. We had no idea that Smoothrich had so big a problem with people watching movies together and playing SMNC in between trying to figure out what TS we were using that day. The extent of hostility between him and the ventrilo was Damug not talking to him and going into another channel when he popped in.

I understand that you've been abandoned by Smoothrich like a doubting Evangelical in a LEFT BEHIND movie, but you are going absolutely nuts over something we literally had no idea was happening.

Every LLJK cRPG TS I've been in that had more than 3 people in it has been filled with spam, trolling, and bullshit about everything but cRPG.

That's why I'm rarely in them.
