It sounds like Swedish but with a Bratwurst shoved down the speaker's throat

I like it, was a big fan of Rammstein at one point. Sounds very powerful in a sense...

A bit like Danish and Dutch combined.

A bit mechanical and sometimes stakato, great for commands, loud exclamations or poetry, beautiful when sung.

Has a slightly humourus tone to it, many nationalities, usually Northern European, use the occasional German word because it sounds fun, is fun to pronounce or because it shares root with a word in their own language (the many post-WWII Anglo-American comedies with German archetypes notwithstanding).

I really enjoy it myself, though I speak only little for one who've studied it for years (cursed German grammar).

German sounds good imo, much better than many other languages.    Among Germanic languages, English imo  is the one that sounds better, German comes  2nd .
Dutch is terrible (imo), sounds like someone is "hawking" or trying to imitate "Achmed the dead terrorist", one of the worst-sounding European languages.

No offense meant, I bet it´s the same the other way round :D

Sound like an harsh language.

I've got the perfect video, and I'm sure that even those who don't speak french will understand the general meaning.

As a Dutchman with a very related language, it doesn't sound strange to me.
But it seems more suited for ordering around.
