So I've never done any strat battles before, do I just show up on the appointed date in the EU strat server? Do I need to be in a ts? Will us dudes by in a channel, or will the entire team be in a TS with communication rules?

Yes, Brontosaurus will be leading the battle today as I didn't remember that I had work when I had the battle be initiated.

Typically someone shows up, but I guess this guy either didn't care or know! I'm just tossing out ideas.

Just expect the higher the troop count, the more chances that there will be a fight. If you see someone getting attacked with 0 or 1 troops, the person probably won't recruit people / doesn't know they've been attacked / doesn't care.  I'm not 100% sure but if you only have <50 troops you can only hire* the same amount of people as you have troops.

My dad lives up north, but I saw him last weekend and spent time with him.    So he said I'm covered for fathers day.   As long as I call him today, I'm golden!!!    LOL.    And Rhalzo, just remember.   Let him win.....................

I didn't really let him win... I shot him pretty close to his... yeah. We were on the same team for most of the day, so I didn't get many chances to actually shoot him.
