Gear Spawning issue

Hospi vs Chaos.

I and many people weren't able to change the gear we were spawning with. It was really annoying.

We had 21-28 construction materials we couldn't spawn with which was a massive pain in the arse.

Out of 10+ awesome weapons I was restricted to a bamboo/war/shortened spear.. Couldn't wear gloves, couldn't use good shields, etc.. Very gamebreaking

You joined the server too fast.

I waited a full minute before joining and on top of that my ability to select gear became effected about 10min into the battle. It was very strange.

No I didn't try rejoining. I could mostly do my job with out it. The weirdest thing was that it worked for the first 10min and then stopped.

And 20-30 masterwork heavy lances (some people were able to spawn with) but I wasn't able to.  I spawned with a heavy lance at the beg and was unable to ever spawn with a mw long hafted blade, or the mw heavy lance.

I've also had this issue before where I choose a horse, and wanted to use a dif horse the next round and it kept spawning me on the first horse I chose at the beginning of the battle.  Frustrating.

After I died I should have left and rejoined maybe.  I didn't think to rejoin since I was spawning with equipment, there were just 2 pieces of equipment I couldn't spawn with.  I'll have to try it out next time that happens.  Also, the reason I didn't rejoin was because I've had this happen in the last dozen or so strat battles, so I assumed it was standard operating procedure.

I had the issue at the begining where I could select any of the gear we had but would only spawn with certain pieces and they weren't ones I chose. After leaving then rejoining, it took care of the issue. I also waited 30sec to join initially to try to avoid the bug.

I think my signature sums up what's going on and it's not a bug.

yeah I've been told to wait 15-30 seconds before joining strat battles, but I thought that was only so you didnt spawn naked.  I'll have to try rejoining next strat battle if this bug happens.
